After experimenting with Maya software, I determined that it would not be a good idea to construct a 3D model of the cyborg habitat using the software. It would not sufficiently show the various features of the cyborg habit. Instead, I decided it would be a better idea to have a detailed spread in the newspaper to show the features of the cyborg habitat.

ASSEMBLY PASSES THE OCEANA FRONTIER ACT
By the year 2100, global warming has triggered catastrophic shift in the planet’s climate. The surface of the Earth is no longer habitable for human beings. The population of the human race has declined to a mere 30 million. Some survivors have evacuated into space colonies. The others now take shelter in a large underground habitat—the Underground Republic (U.R.). As the living conditions in the U.R. begin to stabilize, the population begins to resurge. The U.R. now faces the urgent issue of overcrowding. The space colonies have closed its borders in the same argument of overpopulation. The size of “underground world” has reached its limits. Further expansion in size would put its structure in the risk of collapsing. The U.R. is in desperate need of new habitats for its growing population. After much investigation of the different proposals, the U.R. Assembly has decided to revisit the idea of living on over ground, but with minimal interference to Mother Earth, since the Earth is still in the stage of recovery. Hence, the U.R. would only allow for the inhabitation under the ocean, with its surface frozen solid. The Borg Home is a self-replicating cyborg designed to provide a comfortable habitat for the human race undersea. In other words, the ocean is a “new frontier” for the citizens of U.R. The Oceana Frontier Act is similar to the Homestead Act. Those who wish to live undersea are exempt from tax. The cost of purchasing the Borg Home is subsidized by the U.R. government.
AN INSIDERS GUIDE TO THE BORG-HOME
The research for Borg Home is a project funded by the U.R. government. The article would cover the different features of the Borg Home. (i.e. the technologies employed, its functions, outter appearance, interior, a brief history and the key figures that contributed to its making)
RESIDENTS RETURN TO ZIINEX AFTER GRAY GOO OUTBREAK
In the Engines of the Creation, Eric Drexler warns us against the dangers of uncontrolled nanorobotic replications. The nanorobotic replicators, or replibots can autonomously replicate without bounds, causing the “gray goo scenario”: “They could spread like blowing pollen, replicate swiftly, and reduce the biosphere to dust in a matter of days. Dangerous replicators could easily be too tough, small, and rapidly spreading to stop.” In the year 2100+, an age in which nanorobotic replications are used in everyday life, gray goo outbreaks become one of the major threats of the underground civilization. Improper handing of replibot assemblers are often to blamed. Cleaning up a single gray goo outbreak is expensive and requires severe physical disruption of the area of the outbreak. Some fear criminally irresponsible misuse of such powerful technologies. However, the biggest concern remains that, under the right circumstances, though the possibility of the combined requirements occurring at the same time is less than 1 millionth of a percent, gray goo outbreaks can lead to doom’s day.
EDITORIAL
Professor Gliyotisz criticizes the Oceana Frontier Act. He is against the use of nanorobotic replicators and idea of constructing a cyborg. He warns against the dangers of the human race returning to the Earth's surface.
